Extinguisher Service

All our Service Engineers are trained to service all types and makes of Fire Fighting Equipment, and are qualified and have passed F.E.T.A. (Fire Extinguishing Trades Association) theoretical and practical examination.

Our engineers are not on a bonus for extra sales they just service and do what is needed to keep you compliant

We have various service plans to suit your needs Bronze, silver, Gold to the all inclusive platinum plan

We only service to BS5306-3- 2009 and install to BS5306- 8 2000 (if you would like a lower standard, please don't ring just contact a cowboy) Remember! Prevention is better than cure because you usually dead!

BS5306-3 is the standard for the code of practice for servicing fire extinguishers.

BS5306-8 is the standard for the code of practice for Installing and the positioning of fire extinguishers.

Customer note! BS 5306-3 has changed in 2009 but be assured we will keep you up to standard

One of the main changes for the customer, is the minimum monthly visual inspection (weekly in high risk area) of each fire appliance and the recording of the details Using the service details we have on file of your site we will make this as easy as a click on a button (the details e-mailed).

Some of the services we offer are:
New Fire extinguishers, with a Five year manufacturers guarantee, Fire Extinguisher servicing/Maintenance  to BS 5306-3 2009, Using Feta (Fire extinguishing trades association) trained and qualified engineers to Survey and Installation to BS 5306-8

 

Staff Fire Training

Qualified trainers to provide fire training from Basic Fire awareness Training to Fire warden, Fire Marshal Training.

  • Independent Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Safety Signage to BS5499, Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting Service and Installation, to BS5839 (alarm) and BS5266 (emergency Lights)
  • Dry / Wet Risers Service/maintenance (using our own Fire Pumps manned with ex-Fire Brigade personnel)
  • Sprinkler System Service (Extensions or complete design and install)
  • Suppression Systems and Room Integrity testing
  • Fire extinguisher Protection boxes

On-site staff fire training half day

Duration: approximately 2½h.
Maximum of 12 delegates per course.

You will need an area of ground safe enough to take the extinguisher demonstration about five car parking spaces will do, and up to twelve people may attend each course.
 (As powder does travel when windy, and can cause problems with breathing we will demonstrate it for a short bust only to show how it works and the mess it leaves).
